iGK2 Skim Coat, with its leveling properties, on the walls and iGK1 Resin on the bricks after effective stripping, cleaning, and washing. The complete aesthetic renovation was accompanied by a significant improvement in the energy performance of the masonry.
Severely deteriorated and detached plaster due to prolonged exposure to atmospheric agents over time.
The walls were skimmed with the application of iGK2 Skim Coat. As rising damp was present at the base, it was blocked using a dedicated barrier. The work was perfected with a highly customized fine-plaster finish, choosing from a range of over 300 colors.
Deteriorated plaster sections and detached paint to be removed, in addition to preventing rising damp from recurring.
To avoid the risk of existing cracks reappearing, iGK2 Skim Coat was used. iGK1 Resin was applied on the reveals, since applying iGK2 Skim Coat, adding thickness, could hinder the closing of the shutters.
