How we handle the personal data of people who visit this site, pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 GDPR

Last updated: August 2026

Data controller
The controller is the company named in the legal notice and can be reached at the email address given there. We have not appointed a data protection officer, as we are not required to do so.
Data collected automatically
In order to deliver a page, our server necessarily processes the connection data: IP address, time of the request, the page requested and the browser type. We do not, however, keep an access log: this data is used only to answer the request and is not retained in searchable records. Only technical and security events remain in the server's system journal, for as long as is needed to keep the service running. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and stable service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Contact form
If you write to us through the form, we process your first name, last name, email address, phone number if you provide one, and the content of your message, in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is the taking of steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) or our legitimate interest in replying (point (f)). We keep the correspondence for as long as it is needed to deal with your enquiry and for any period required by tax and commercial law, after which we delete it.
Who we share data with
We do not sell or pass on personal data. It is accessible only to the people within the company who need to deal with your enquiry, and to the provider hosting the site, who acts as a processor under a contract pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
Where the data is stored
The servers hosting this site are located in Canada. Canada is a country for which the European Commission has recognised an adequate level of protection, so the transfer takes place under Art. 45 GDPR without further safeguards being required.
Third-party services
This site uses no analytics tools, embeds no social network buttons or widgets, and loads nothing from external domains. Even the typefaces are served from our own server: when you open a page, your browser contacts no other provider.
Your rights
You may ask us at any time what data we hold about you (Art. 15), to correct it (Art. 16), to erase it (Art. 17), to restrict its processing (Art. 18) and to receive it in a machine-readable format (Art. 20). You may object at any time to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21) and withdraw a consent you have given, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand. To exercise these rights, write to the address given in the legal notice.
Complaint to a supervisory authority
If you believe that the processing of your data breaches the rules, you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for our registered office is the Bayerisches Landesamt fur Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany. You may also contact the authority in the country where you live or work.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the way we handle data changes or when new rules require it. The version published on this page is always the one that applies.
